Safety and requirements

ThrillFleet wants your ride to be safe, fun, and stress-free. Please review these requirements before you book. Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of your deposit, penalties, or removal from the platform.

✅ Minimum Age & License

  • You must be 25 or older to rent on ThrillFleet.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • For boats, jet skis, or other watercraft, you must also have the proper boating certificate if required by state law.

🧰 Safety Gear

  • Helmets required for ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes.
  • Life jackets required for all watercraft.
  • Closed-toe shoes only (no sandals or flip-flops).
  • Eye protection and gloves are strongly recommended.

Hosts may refuse handoff if you arrive without required gear.

📸 Before & After Photos (Mandatory)

  • Both renters and hosts must upload before and after photos/videos of the vehicle:
    • Angles required: front, both sides, rear, inside, and from above.
  • Failure to upload photos:
    • Renters → lose the right to defend against damage claims.
    • Hosts → lose the right to file damage claims.

🕒 Booking Window vs. Pickup/Dropoff

  • Booking window (platform rule):
    • Rentals run from 12:00 AM on the start date to 11:59 PM on the end date.
    • This controls deposits, damage reporting, and payouts.
  • Pickup & dropoff times (flexible):
    • Agreed directly between renter and host.
    • Example: A 1-day booking for June 10 runs 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM, but you and the host may agree on pickup at 9 AM and dropoff at 7 PM.

🚫 Prohibited Activities

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication.
  • Reckless, aggressive, or stunt driving.
  • Racing or using vehicles on unauthorized terrain.
  • Allowing unapproved drivers or extra passengers.
  • Sub-renting, re-listing, or transferring bookings.

Violations may result in immediate booking cancellation, loss of deposit, and permanent ban.

🛠️ Host Responsibilities

Hosts must:

  • Deliver a clean, safe, and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Verify renter’s ID and readiness at handoff.
  • Provide any required safety gear.
  • Upload before/after photos within 24 hours.

💸 Deposits & Damages

  • A security deposit is authorized at booking.
  • If no damage is reported → deposit releases automatically after 24 hours.
  • If damage is reported:
    • Host must file within 24 hours of booking end.
    • Professional repair estimates must be submitted within 5 days.
    • Only the documented estimate amount can be captured from the deposit.

⚠️ Important Reminders

  • No insurance is provided by ThrillFleet. Renters and hosts are fully responsible for their own coverage.
  • Accidents, damage, or injuries are the responsibility of the parties involved.
  • Always ride responsibly, respect the outdoors, and follow all laws.

By booking on ThrillFleet, you confirm that you:

Accept responsibility for following all rules.

Meet the age and licensing requirements.

Will wear the required safety gear.

Will upload before/after photos.
