For Renters

How does ThrillFleet work? +

Browse off-road vehicles listed by locals. Book in minutes, sign a digital waiver, and you’re ready to ride — no paperwork, no phone tag.

What do I need to rent a vehicle? +

All renters must be at least 25 years old and pass government ID verification at checkout. You’ll also sign a digital waiver before booking is confirmed.

Do I need to transport the vehicle? +

Not unless you want to. Many hosts offer delivery, curbside pickup, or on-location rides on their private land — no trailer required.

Can I ride on someone’s private land? +

Yes — some hosts offer private trails and land you can ride on directly. No trailer, no transport. Just show up and ride.

What kinds of vehicles can I rent? +

You’ll find UTVs, ATVs, dirt bikes, jet skis, boats, and snowmobiles.

What if I’ve never ridden before? +

That’s okay! Many vehicles are beginner-friendly. Just make sure you meet the age and license requirements listed by the host.

Do I need a special license or insurance? +

No special license is required — just a valid driver’s license and being 25 or older. Insurance isn’t required, but you’re responsible for damage if it occurs.

Is fuel included? +

Fuel policies vary by host. Check the listing details or message the host directly for info.

What happens if something goes wrong during the ride? +

If an issue comes up during your ride, just let your host know and you can sort it out together. Riders are expected to take care of the equipment, and a refundable deposit may be used if needed. A quick digital waiver is included with every booking to keep everything clear for both sides.

What if I’m blamed for damage I didn’t cause? +

ThrillFleet uses before-and-after photos, messaging records, and waivers to make sure everything’s fair. If there’s a dispute, we review the evidence from both sides to help reach a fair resolution. Be sure to cover yourself by taking clear photos all around the vehicle before and after the ride and attach them to the email you get from inspections@thrillfleet.com before your booking.

Can I cancel a booking? +

Yes

  • Full refunds are available for bookings when requested 24 hours before your scheduled date.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before your booking.

Make sure to check the cancellation terms listed on each booking and contact the host if something comes up.

For Hosts

How do I list my vehicle? +

Create an account, add your vehicle through the host dashboard, upload photos, fill out all of the information, then create a Stripe Connect account — and you’re live.

What kind of vehicles can I list? +

ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, boats, jet skis — anything off-road or water-based. If it’s thrilling and privately owned, it probably qualifies.

Do I need to own land to host? +

Nope. You can offer delivery, let renters pick it up, or even trailer it to a nearby trail. Land rentals are optional.

Is there a fee to list? +

No — it’s completely free to list. You only pay a small platform fee after you get booked.

What’s the fee for using ThrillFleet as a host? +

ThrillFleet keeps things easy. Our 15 percent service fee covers secure payments, ID verification, digital waivers, and support so you can share your ride without worrying about logistics.

How do deposits work? +

You set your own refundable deposit amount. We collect it automatically when the booking is made and return it after the ride, as long as no damage is reported.

What if a renter damages my vehicle? +

Every renter signs a digital waiver and is responsible for any damage. You can require a deposit, and we provide documentation tools for before/after inspection.

How do I get paid? +

Payouts are handled securely through Stripe and deposited to your bank account several days (can vary) after each completed rental.

Can I cancel a booking as a host? +

Yes. You have full control to accept or decline bookings up until 24 hours before the booking. If you need to cancel after a booking is accepted, do so through your dashboard as early as possible and contact the renter directly if needed.

Can I offer delivery or pickup? +

Absolutely. You choose whether to offer delivery, curbside pickup, or on-location rides. It’s all up to you.

Trust & Safety

Are renters verified? +

Yes. All renters must complete government ID verification and be 25 or older. No ID, no booking.

Are waivers included? +

Yes. Every rental includes a mandatory digital waiver signed during checkout, so you’re protected from the start.

What if a dispute happens? +

We’re here to help. ThrillFleet provides messaging logs, waiver records, deposit details, and your before/after photos to help resolve issues fairly. Clear documentation means smoother outcomes for everyone.

How are payments and IDs handled? +

All payments go through Stripe for security. Renters must verify their identity before booking — no exceptions.

Is insurance provided? +

ThrillFleet keeps the process straightforward. Hosts may include a refundable deposit, and riders confirm basic safety and responsibility guidelines through a quick waiver.
